This included all chassis and suspension, new body, and install a fresh race engine. The powerplant was a 377cid chevrolet assembled in Mooresville NC. The lucky 7 car is sponsored by Leavitt Racing Components, Al's Shrimp Co, and Pro-Concrete. Rodney is a graduate of Georges Valley High School, Thomaston, ME and former driver at Speedway 95, Wiscasset Raceway, and PASS Mod and Outlaw divisions. Rodney and Taylor are back home in Sherrills Ford NC. Racing plans for 2009 season call for a super late model and 604 crate engine at Concord Speedway, and possibly a few PASS South shows.
